We pulled out of Mazatlan early in the morning and headed to Culiacan, the capital city of the state of Sinaloa. Culiacan was founded in 1531 and is one of the oldest cities in Mexico. Most of the way we drove along the water, the Sea of Cortez. About halfway to Culiacan, we made a reststop at a place that had lots of flowers and an ocean view. Then we continued on our way arriving in Culiacan in time for lunch and a visit to a mall.
